The site chosen for the center was a very challenging one. The building is situated at the top of a hill with views to the rest of the campus and has a lot of pedestrian traffic that goes from the residential building back of the hill to the main campus. The idea was to create a happening as students walk through the site.
The project has a series of plazas connected with stairs that go down from the main entrance at the back, which work also as the motor court, to the lower corner that connects to the campus. Through these plazas you can enjoy the views of the campus and experience
