WATER HOUSE DEMOLISHED

With great sadness we received this morning the news of the Water House Demolition in Jeju.
Also with sorrow we realized that the construction of the Hotel and Residences went ahead, regardless of the original design, despite having offered all our help and available information for proper implementation. We believe a great opportunity to have a representation of Mexican architecture in Korea was missed.
We respect the decision of the Supreme Court of Korea and are deeply grateful to the Embassy of Mexico in Korea and all those who expressed their support in searching for its conservation.

With the presence of Eng. Alfonso Pompa, Dean for the Metropolitan Zone of Mexico City; Dr. Daniel Moska, Campus Santa Fe General Director and Arch. Victor Legorreta, General Director and Design Director in Legorreta + Legorreta, among other guests, this afternoon took place the groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion of TEC, Campus Santa Fe.
In this new phase, the facilities will have above grade covered parking, multifunctional sports fields, gym, bathrooms with dressing rooms, multipurpose rooms and a panoramic terrace, among other services.
Thus the Tec will continue to offer first class facilities for the 5,000 students who are expected to attend the Campus in the near future.
